In Rust, survival takes precedence over all else. Conquer thirst and hunger, face the weather, craft weapons, and keep safe from enemy forces such as other players, scientists, bears, wolves, and even death by fire, drowning, or radiation poisoning.

In the struggle for life and domination, players can construct everything from modest huts in the woods to massive scrap metal fortresses in order to keep safe, as well as a range of weaponry, bombs, and traps. Rust is a game with no rules: it does not tell its residents what to do. With fierce player vs. player fighting, raiding, and looting, players are allowed to be sneaky and aggressive, but there is possibly much more to be achieved with a squad of friendly gamers by your side.
