In The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for Nintendo Switch, discover the Master Sword’s beginnings. This venerable quest, which debuted on the Wii in 2011, has been adjusted for the Nintendo Switch with improved motion controls and updated button controls.

Link must traverse between a world above the clouds and the vast unknown below in order to find his childhood companion Zelda in the first chapter in The Legend of Zelda timeline. In this epic quest, Link will battle strong opponents with his dependable sword and shield, work out challenging puzzles, and soar through the air atop a huge bird called a Loftwing.

When playing with two Joy-Con controllers, these become your sword and shield. Swing the right Joy-Con to have Link swing his sword in-game and use the left Joy-Con to raise his shield to block enemy attacks. Physical movements like these can also be used to make use of different tools and items, such as wielding a bow and arrow or throwing bombs.

For the first time, you can also control this adventure using buttons, enabling you to play it on Nintendo Switch Lite or in portable mode. By merely tilting the right control stick in a specific direction when employing this control method, Link’s sword can be moved.

The Master Sword and Hylian Shield-themed Joy-Con Pair will debut alongside The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD.
